Working and Waiting

I got my first order for a custom quilt, and I'm so excited. After a few days of back and forth over fabric and layout, everything is ordered and I'm trying to be patient as I await the arrival of the packages from all over. I'm also a little nervous because up until now I've only done this for family, friends and a few that I made for the Mom 2 Mom sale (which went really well I think!).

So as I wait I get to work on something else. This is a sneak at a 26x32 that I'm just finishing up for a couple that welcomed a new daughter into the world last week. They have no idea that Alana is getting this, and I'm pretty sure neither of them read the blog so I'm hoping that I'm safe.

Also not having a large thing to work on with deadline and all that worry means William, Dadddy and I get some time together. We took advantage of the nicer weekend weather to take a walk. As is with any 2 year old I think, he started out in the wagon enjoying the ride, and ended the walk wanting to pull the pretend monkey we found in a tree along the way.
