Like a gold star . . . .

Remember that feeling you got when you were in school, your teacher handed back a picture you had drawn and on the top was a lovely gold star. It was a kiddie version of the universe saying "nice picture! great job!" You couldn't wait to get home and show your parents, you took it out on the bus and passed it around to show everyone, and maybe even smiled a bit broader than your then bucked teeth should have allowed.

This is the adult version for a quilt loving, picture taking adult like myself! And I got it! (I knew it was fate when I saw her button, it matches my blog perfectly.) Since Jodi started this site I've been secretly hoping to find a picture of mine featured on there. Checking it obsessively is a bit of an understatement. I got the e-mail today from Jodi that one my pictures had been featured and I think that I audibly gasped. Okay I know that I did because William asked "Mommy do you have enough air?"

If you haven't visited the site yet, it's the perfect blend of quilting and photography perfection. It is inspiring, full of things I will never be brave enough to try, and now features a picture from a little known blogger who is still grinning from ear to ear.
