New Quilts!

So other than decorating cute cakes I have been busy getting down to some quilting work! It seems the season for showers, as I have one to package up this weekend for a wedding shower of a good family friend. This also means that I get to go to the "states" and I've already told my mom and sister-in-law that we're not crossing the boarder again until I get to a Joanne's! I've also informed my mom that if she loves me she will buy me fabric, we'll see how that part goes.

It's going to be an exciting weekend because it will also be the first time that my dad, aka Papa will be watching William all by himself. He's always had mom around to help out, but the boys are on their on Saturday, so my fingers are crossed that William's last molar pops through before then, so that he's back to his sunny self for his big day.

I digress, yes the quilts. Here is the bridal shower gift, a lap quilt in Blossom.

The next one is "Breakfast for Brexton" which is my first quilt that someone is willing to pay me for! A great family on our street who are giving it to their son for his first birthday! It's also my first real pieced back, which is a little crooked, but don't look too hard!

skip the wedding and bring the quilt to me! I love them both! The black one with the pieced back is stunning too! Keep them coming!
