Liebster Award? For me?

It's funny when someone recognizes that you blog! I really sometimes believe that only  few of my close friends and family know that I do this, and even then they don't really check that often. Today my belief was shattered when I received a simple three line e-mail from Cinda at Rose Room Quilts that simply said she had nominated my little blog for a Liebster Award.

The absolute best part of this german love, that is given to blogs with less than 300 followers, is that I get to now nominate three others, and I can't wait for you to start visiting these ladies!

Ariel of The Creative Juices of Ariel. This is a momma with style and talent! A quilter, and illustrator, a full-time mom of two beautiful little boys. Ariel is who I want to be when I grow up. Ariel really was the person who inspired me to quilt and to blog.

Kristy of Handmade Retro is also a creative wonder, and very generous too.  She donated two quilts to The Gracie Jane Project which are making their way up to the hospital this week!


Pigtails and Snails is my last nomination. Not only does Elizabeth quilt, but she takes by far the most stunning pictures of anyone that I know. She's also a Canadian girl and if I could afford to fly the family to Calgary just to have our picture done, I would do it in a heartbeat.
