Finally A Quilt for Me

You read it right, this is the first quilt that I have made that I'm keeping all for myself. I've been working on it on and off for the better part of a month, just a nice sized lap quilt for me to curl up under. I love everything about it, but I do have to say the quilting on this was a little more than I thought, and a little tedious at the end, but it did come out of the dryer looking crinkly and perfect.

My friend Sarah who is also my hairdresser let me use her backyard for these pictures earlier today. Her husband had a strange look on his face while he drove past me on the lawn mower, but I'm sure that he got an explination when he went in!
