The day that everyone has been waiting for, it's giveaway day. I'm doing this for a couple reasons, but one because I hope that you will stay and read a little of the blog from time to time after the giveaway is done.
I pondered what to giveaway, and I love the new pictures that I took at the winery so much that I'm going to giveaway 2, 8x10 prints to the winner (winner's choice so check them out!). If I get over 50 reponses I will also throw in another little present as well to a 2nd winner with the most creative post. (The first winner will likely be random, but I can't promise that!)
So everyone here is your task . . . . .
You need to go back onto the blog and find the quilt I have made that you like most, and leave a comment telling me which one it is. I know I'm making you work, but someone has to! If you join to follow me or add my blog to the list of blogs you check often I'll give you another 5 chances. Sound fair?
Leave your comment by 8am Friday and I will draw Friday night. Thanks for participating everyone. Enjoy everyone, I'm off to enter a few myself!
Pictures of wine? I need the wine! My favorite quilt is the one pictured on April 1 of your wG quilted blankie.

ReplyDeleteThe one you made for your mom is congruent and very feminine, but with subtleness. I like the use of texture and colour in it. It would be my favourite.
ReplyDeleteI like the colors of the disappearing 9 patch. Such a fun pattern to make.
ReplyDeleteHi! Thanks for stopping by and entering my give away and thanks for letting me know about yours! I looked through your posts, nice quilts, I love the quilted blankie with the brown, blue and green squares from the 3/9/09 post. So cute! I think it is the wG blankie. I'm following your blog too! Thanks.
ReplyDeleteYou know which quilt is my favorite! Arcadia is awesome! Would love to win...your photography is stunning.

the blue/brown quilt from april 1st! love it!
ReplyDeleteThe quilted blankie originally posted on March 9 is really my favorite. Mostly because it looks a lot like the "blankie" my mother made for me when I was little. Not exactly like it, mind you -- yours is much more modern and mine is threadbare in places, with a slightly out-of-place border that was added when I was 9 -- but some of the lighter colored leaf prints look a lot like it. I actually went over to my bed (yes, I'm 25 and I still have my blankie) to compare them! I can imagine how snuggly yours must feel. I am going to keep your etsy store in mind next time I need to treat myself to a home comfort!
ReplyDeleteGosh, those pics are GREAT!! I'm a newbie to photography so I hope to get great pics like those some day! And I won't even begin to tell you the story of my last (and I vow no more) experience with wine tasting---I never knew that eventually you'd STOP tasting it, it all went down so smoothly!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the opportunity to win!
As for my favorite quilt (well, I think it's your VERY first one!) I just love the colors, stunning reds in it are so eye catching! But I will admit those quilted "blankie" with their brown and greens are quite enticing too!
Hugs & Blessings!
I love 13!
ReplyDeleteI know this isn't a quilt but I love tablerunners so much that I have to say the tablerunner you made for your parents. And who would have thought you could get pink nautical themed fabric?
ReplyDeleteLove your blog! As for my fav quilt frm all the quilts you have made-- I have a tie between your first quilt ( Love the fabric choice , beautiful colors) and your big quilt ( love the color combo). So I would say I l ove them both!! and your ds is ADORABLE!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of the quilted blankie, plus you posted the pics on my birthday!
ReplyDeleteBeen right through your blog, love your modern style quilts. I think i like your first one best, and the one you made for your friends baby shower, ooh and the one you made for you mum. Like i said i really like your style. I too started sewing recently (Dec). I have just started hand quilting my first quilt this evening (it was machine pieced). I have mostly been making clothes and softies. I have added you to my favorites will definitely be reading your blog regularly. I am to chicken to start my own yet.........
ReplyDeleteI LOVE "wG Quilted Blankies".. the earth tone colours are perfect.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, those photos are amazing! Very well taken!
ReplyDeleteSo, I was perusing your blog to find my favorite quilt and you have so many beautiful ones! You choose your fabrics very well and your patterns are simple and modern, which I really love. But, as I went through them I found this post:
http://williamgeorgecompany.blogspot.com/2009/04/family-pictures-finally.html
And I decided that the best quilt you have is pictured there. Yes, I realize that there is no stitching, or fabric in that post. There is no polyfill or perfect knots. But there, is the quilt that will last forever. There is where you have put your creative energy. For you have created a family - a legacy. Pieces have been brought together to form something absolutely beautiful and it will continue to grow as new remnants are added over the years. That is the best quilt you have on this blog.
I love your pictures of the wine! 4 is awesome!
ReplyDeleteFavorite quilt is.... The one you did on March 9th, I love those colors. I also really like the pink one that was similar size.
Thanks for doing the giveaway.

Wow, everyone involved in this giveaway is inspiring me! Your quilts are all beautiful, but my favorite has to be the one you posted about both on 3/17 and 4/15. I have a two year old and I can definitely imagine that on her bed!

ReplyDeleteI love the Quilted baby blankie, but also really like the one for Leisa!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the chance to win - and have added you to my list of blog feeds!
Leisa's quilt is stunning, and I love the stripy patchwork bag you did(from the kit?). And how jealous am I that you won the Zombie floss giveaway? very...
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt you made to advertise your baby quilts, the green and brown squares. I have always wanted to make a random quilt using only 4" squares. Unfortunately a project I have yet to begin, because it is for myself! Thanks for the giveaway!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh! You're kidding me! This was your first quilt: http://williamgeorgecompany.blogspot.com/2009/01/big-reveal.html? It is beautiful! And definitely my favorite. I must know how you embrodiered the initial on there? A tutorial perhaps? Also, I would love to win those wine prints, they are so lovely. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI like the quilt you posted about here http://williamgeorgecompany.blogspot.com/2009/04/bloggers-quilt-festival.html because the black is so striking. I love the contrast of the black against the other colours.
ReplyDeleteI do like the quilt you made for your friend Leisa - I'm all about baby things now! and I also like the tea bag holders (I know - not a quilt) and hello wine bottle prints! beautiful
ReplyDeletethis one is just amazingly perfect : http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_HsXAOdSDWXU/SbUQI9BpoxI/AAAAAAAAAQs/PWNl10jZClg/s1600-h/Picture+011.jpg

ReplyDeleteI like the Tula tablerunner, it caught my eye. And reading the story - definitely better than a pink tablecloth:) I really like your wine pics. Hope you're leaving your draw open to the 31st?!
ReplyDeleteI like the gift for your mommy on may 4th! adorable!!! the colors and style are so me. i might borrow your idea (and give you credit of course on my blog if i use it!) your wine photos are beautiful! any wino (like me) would be darn lucky to get them :)
ReplyDeleteAm I too late? I LOVE the photos of the winery so much!!! I took a look at your Etsy shoppe and only found 1 quilt for a baby, but that is probably the one I would pick because I love the contrasting colors so much! I hope I'm not too late!!

ReplyDeleteoooh I love the quilted baby blankie ;)
